Round Shader
Round shaders were more prevalent in the 60’s but have seen a massive resurgence of late proving to be a popular alternative to larger lining groups.
The key benefit of a round shader is being able to effortlessly alternate between thick one pass lining, to colour packing for those tighter parameters and difficult shapes which magnums just can’t fit into.

The taper size refers to the length of the section of the needle that starts thinning out to the needle’s point. A medium taper has a shorter point while an extra long taper has a longer point.
Different artists prefer to use different length tapers. This is a personal preference and if you’re not sure what kind of taper you like, we recommend giving both a try to see what you like best.
